Governor's Message
RI Convention 2011 Update
District Governor Owen Lusk recently attended a planning meeting for the
Rotary International New Orleans Convention, May 21-25. The meeting
coincided with the District 6840 (New Orleans area and southern
Mississippi) District Conference.
DG Lusk joined New Orleans Host Organization Committee (HOC) Chair,
Subhash Kulkarni, and RI Convention Chair, Past-Director Ron Burton, in
working towards a successful Convention.
Registration for the May 21-25 event is $300 per person. After December 15, the cost increases to $340 per person.

Vocational Team Training - Members Needed
Interviews for the Vocational Training Team (VTT) Team Leader and non-Rotarian Team Members will be Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Harding University in Searcy, AR. Rotary District 6150 will be sending a Vocational Studies Exchange team
to the Philippines in February of 2011 as part of a Future Vision Grant
that will also see a team from the Philippines visiting us. The outgoing
team from District 6150 will be in the Philippines from mid-February
2011 until mid-March 2011.

Pulaski Academy & Catholic High School Celebrate World Interact Week
Members of the Interact Clubs from Pulaski Academy & Catholic High
School celebrated World Interact Week on Saturday, November 6 from
10:00am-3:00pm. Members banded together and worked with Rotarians from
Little Rock Metro Rotary to clean up the entrance to Historic Boyle Park
for Pavilion One. Catholic High is sponsored by Club 99.
