Reason for the Season

The Christmas season has finally arrived, and I am grateful to all the Rotarians who have so willingly joined me in the quest to build communities and bridge continents.

I have logged many miles since becoming DG this past summer, and have met many Rotarians in our district who share the vision to make our district among the best. My thanks to everyone who has helped along the way.

RYLA 2011

Calling all Clubs in District 6150! RYLA Camp is gearing up for fun and adventure April 7th – 10th  2011.  We are looking for today’s youth who will be tomorrow’s leaders!

Please ask your Club’s Youth Chair visit the District’s Website to download a complete packet - here.

Important dates and deadlines for the camp:
  • Club’s commitment and funds due – January 10th, 2011 ($250 per student)  
  • Student Applications due – March 1st, 2011
  • Camp Dates and NEW location – April 7th-10th, 2011; Ferncliff, Little Rock



Great Reasons to Support The Rotary Foundation

There are as many reasons to support The Rotary Foundation as there are ways to do good in the world.

By contributing to the Foundation, you help support the Foundation’s six areas of focus, which help to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. By giving US$100 a year through the Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) initiative, you become a Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member. Contributions to EREY are the primary source of funding for Foundation programs.

Send the Club Officer's Kit to club officers

In November, district governors-elect received a Club Officers’ Kit for each club in the district. Governors-elect should be sure to send the kit to the incoming officers of each club. The kit can be mailed, distributed by assistant governors, or handed out at a pre-presidents-elect training seminar (PETS) meeting.

Rotary Logos and Proper Use of Rotary Marks

Do you need to download Rotary logos or are you about to name a new Rotary project?
