♦ Pub Club will NOT meet on Dec 14th. They WILL meet on Dec 21st at East End Grill. That will be the last meeting of the year.
♦ Our Club Christmas party will be held on Friday, Dec 16th starting at 5:00 at the home of KATHRYN OREOVICZ, 225 N 2nd St #5A, across from Riehle Plaza. Park along the street or in the Plaza lot. Also, the paid parking garage around the corner of 2nd Street on Ferry, 1st & 2nd levels, is available. Then just come around the corner to the main entrance.
There is a keypad on your left at the main entrance, and here are the instructions:
Press the number "6" repeatedly until it comes to "5A" or "Oreovicz" Then press the # sign (this will alert us upstairs and we'll buzz you in).
Take the elevator on your right to the 5th floor. Exit the elevator area and turn right and follow the corridor to our door. It will be open so come on in.If all else fails call 765-838-0177 and someone will come down.
Bring your own beverage. We will have regular Coke and mixers on hand.
♦ ELSA JANLE has her own hand-crafted jewelry for sale. Part of the profits go towards our own Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation. Do visit her table.
♦ Checks for Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign can still be sent to FLOYD GARROTT. Our bell-ringing efforts on Dec. 3rd brought in $2100.
♦ In January we will have a brainstorming/interest meeting for all those who are interested in a new service project. Watch Ripples for date and location.
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT:
Congratulations to CHRISTINE BURR on completing the requirements for the online Master of Science Degree in Business Management, Strategy, and Leadership at the Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business. She has qualified for graduation with honors and will receive her degree on Dec. 16th.
