ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ Pub Club will meet at Red Seven on Wed. at 5:30.

♦ One person is needed to assist with unloading the Food Finders truck THIS THURSDAY at Miami School at 9:00 am. Let DICK RAHDERT know if you are able to help.

♦ Save your gently used CD’s of music from the 50’s or 60’s or 70’s to share with Joyful Journey adult day center.

Rotarians are encouraged to welcome Purdue students back to the community during TWO upcoming events.

♦ Volunteers are needed THIS THURSDAY, August 18, from 7 to 10 pm for the Boiler Bridge Bash.   Up to 6000 Purdue freshmen will converge on downtown Lafayette and community members are urged to  attend to smile and say "welcome."   For most this will be their first experience off-campus and we want them to feel welcome.

♦ On Saturday, September 3, the Mosey Down Main Street will include a Mosey With The World theme.
All Purdue students and staff from other countries are being encouraged to go downtown and take part in the Mosey.   Again, we would like Rotarians and others from the community to welcome them as they get off buses and, if needed, escort them around the event.   The Mosey begins at 6 pm and runs until 11, but any amount of time you can contribute will be appreciated.
To sign up contact MIKE PIGGOTT, piggott@purdue.edu.

♦ JACK KELLEY announced that the Open World group is coming from Ukraine on September 16th for eight days.
