♦ Pub Club will meet at Red Seven at 5:30 on Wednesday.  All are welcome.

♦ Please use signupgenius to volunteer for helping at the back of the room.  We need money takers, greeters and raffle ticket sellers.

♦ BILL HATFIELD announced that the 2017 Rotary International Convention will be in Atlanta.  A special low rate of $265 is available until June 6, 2016.   At this point, there are 3 members going from here.  He encourages others to join the fun at the low rate.

♦ LETA KELLEY announced that we have completed our 8th year of packing 80 backpacks each week at Miami Elementary School.  She thanked our partners in this project:  Four Points by Sheraton for 2 pieces of fruit for each backpack each week; Kroger for discounted milk; Lafayette Carpet Cleaning for cleaning the backpacks at no charge; Kathy’s Candies for donating candy treats; and Food Finders for letting us buy backpacks at cost.   She ended by saying that she hopes backpacks are not needed by the 200th anniversary of the club.

♦ RAFFLE WINNER:    Congratulations to the winner of the raffle: CHRIS JOHANNSEN.  Since the club’s Charity Gaming License expires at the end of today, the board will discuss how to proceed.  If you have ideas or suggestions, please contact a board member.
