SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Daybreak’s Toast to Mental Health is Thursday May 5th.  Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased on-line or from a Daybreak Member.   MATT SALSBERY and DAVIS STRAND were with us today to make the announcement and sell tickets.

PROGRAM:

PRESIDENT JIM reminded us that the theme for this month is The Rotarian Magazine. It is a fine publication and the highlight this year is the President’s letter. “Candid and forthright” describes his assessment of important issues. JIM also reported on the District Conference, which was last weekend. The emphasis was on food insecurity – quality of food as well as the quantity. PRIS GERDE gave us an update on our upcoming Centennial Celebration. If you don’t have your ticket, you have until Friday to buy on-line or to contact TIM LUZADER. The second half of the club’s history that JACK KELLEY has put in power point format was presented.

GUEST:
Rudy Klim, husband of IYA KLIM.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:

Here’s a thought for people who show up on-time for meetings.  This comes from Franklin P. Jones, who was a Philadelphia reporter, public-relations executive, and humorist. “The trouble with being punctual is that nobody’s there to appreciate it.”
