After sharing a few little known facts about her PRESIDENT JIM turned the meeting over to PRIS GERDE. Pris Gerde As chair of the Centennial Celebration Committee, she predicts a fun weekend. The President of Rotary International, K. R. (Ravi) RAVINDRAN, will arrive in West Lafayette Friday evening. JOEL RASMUS, chair of the centennial service project committee, explained that on Saturday we will install a mini library and water fountain in a West Lafayette Park.Joel RasmusAll members of the club will find something they can do - from checking in fellow Rotarians to cleaning up the park and planting flowers. There will be a Ribbon Cutting, shared with Daybreak, who help to finance the water fountain.

Jack KelleyJACK KELLEY showed us the first half of a very impressive power point he has researched and assembled to highlight 100 years of our club’s history. The second part will be shown the end of April. PRIS reminded us that the party begins at 6:00 (the ticket says 6:30 but the reception will begin earlier) where members who are being recognized with Paul Harris Fellows will have their group photos taken with RAVI. The history power point will run during the reception. During the meal there will be entertainment, highlighted by a speech by our RI President.

Tickets are available now and need to be purchased by April 21st. So far we have 59 members of our club and 22 Rotarians from other clubs attending. The committee would like to see 300 smiling faces in the Ball Room at Four Points by Sheraton. It’s going to be a FUN evening!
