JIM'S THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:

This is the time of the year that involves gifts, and I think I mentioned last year that my favorite gifts as a child were model airplanes. Airplanes are still my favorite toy, so I picked this quote from a sign posted in an Army Air Force pilot training squadron during WWII:

Try to stay in the middle of the air.  Do not go near the edges of it.  The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, and trees.  It is much more difficult to fly there.
