PROGRAM:

JOEL called the Annual Club Membership Meeting to order and announced that the President’s Report and the Treasurer’s Report will be presented at a later date. He presented the slate of officers for next year.

Note: JOEL RASMUS was elected in December 2014 to become President-Nominee immediately, President-Elect on July 1, 2015, and President on July 1, 2016.

To become Vice President on July 1, 2016: MIKE BOEBINGER

To become Club Secretary effective July 1, 2016: RENEE FIGUEROA

To retain the position of Club Treasurer effective July 1, 2016: Position vacant – currently no nominee

To be elected to the Board of Directors effective July 1, 2016: MARTI GUTWEIN – (2-year term to fill the unexpired term of MIKE BOEBINGER, who will move into the vice-president’s ex officio position on the board)

Current Board:
JIM KLUSMAN, JOEL RASMUS, GAIL BRICKLER, JO WADE, JANE TURNER, ELSA JANLE, CHRISTINE BURR, CAROL GALBRAITH, LARRY HUGGINS, and MIKE BOEBINGER.

DAVE LUHMAN made the TOM MORAN Memorial Motion to close the nominations and cast a unanimous ballot for the slate as presented. Second was by CHRISTA KECK. Motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned.

BRIAN BITTNER, President of the Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation, reviewed the Annual Report, presented in a tri-fold, and shared some of the account totals for projects. He thanked all who have contributed to the Foundation and also the Community Foundation for their matching grant. Several questions by members were answered.


CELEBRATION OF LIFE:
 Standing in for JIM KLUSMAN today, JOEL RASMUS read a remembrance of BILL MILLER, who died October 16th.  It is attached here.
