PROGRAM:

Our traditional Thanksgiving meeting with Kiwanis featured fellow Rotarian DAVE SATTLER presenting “A Cartoon History of Greater Lafayette”. Dave Sattler After giving us a brief history of his cartooning career, emphasizing that cities our size don’t have local cartoons in the local paper, he shared several cartoons and their back stories from 1973 to present.

He also had cartoons that were not published. If you missed this meeting, you forfeited the opportunity to laugh. Dave has published three books of his cartoons. It was an entertaining and enlightening program.
