  • 10/29  Purdue Basketball Coaches -  joint meeting with Kiwanis on THURSDAY (East side of the ballroom).
ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ ELSA JANLE reminded us that dues are due November 1st.  Even though you have not received a dues statement (due to issues with the technology), you can mail your $126 to Rotary Club of Lafayette IN, Inc. P.O. Box 3923, West Lafayette, IN 47996 or bring a check or credit card to a luncheon meeting.  If you use a credit card there is a small additional charge.

♦ Pub Club will meet at Cellar 422 Wine Bar at 422 Main Street on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.  All are welcome.

♦ CHRIS JOHANNSEN asked for volunteers to unload the Food Finders truck at  Miami School on Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

♦ ROB GALBRAITH reminded members of the Centennial Celebration on April 30 , 2016.  He announced the committee chairs and encouraged each member to participate.

♦ The District Mid-Year Conference is October 24th at Anderson University.  JACK KELLEY will be attending and will provide transportation.  Please contact him if you’re interested in learning more about Rotary.

♦ ELSA JANLE announced that the club will match up to 100 points for anyone wishing to contribute enough to become a Paul Harris Fellow or receive a new pin.  Contributions must be received by the end of February to allow enough time for RI to process them for presentation by the R I President at our Centennial Celebration.

♦ Our joint service club meeting with the Purdue Basketball coaches will be on a Thursday.  Same time – Same place – Same cost.  Kiwanis will be in charge of the meeting.

♦ 50/50 RAFFLE:  The owner of the winning ticket was MARTI GUTWEIN!  Unfortunately, the aces eluded her.  Better luck next time.

STUDENT GUESTS:
FRED KUIPERS introduced Abigail Lanners and Jacob Garrett from Jefferson High School.  Each received a certificate with the Four-Way Test to commemorate meeting with us today.
