♦ Pub Club will meet on Wednesday at 5:30 at The Tourism Tailgate Party, 301 Frontage Road, Lafayette.  All are welcome.

♦ Our industrious Rotaract members have gone home, so we need volunteers to pack backpacks this Thursday.  Please contact LETA KELLEY if you can help.

♦ Volunteers are needed for the Volunteer Expo, sponsored by Leadership Lafayette.  It is at the YWCA on May 7th from 4 – 7 p.m.  Sign up if you can help!

♦ If you would like to pay your dues by credit card, a card reader is available at Tuesday meetings.

♦ Daybreak’s major fund raiser is Toast to Mental Health.  MATT SALISBURY invited us to join the fun on May 7th from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Trails.  Snacks and a beverage are included in the ticket price.

♦ JERRY COLE, who celebrated his 90th birthday last October, will be celebrating a life goal in a few weeks when he will be among 36 students from the Purdue Statewide Technology program at SIA who will receive their bachelor's degrees. The graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 9, in Fowler Hall, Stewart Center at 10:00 am. A reception will follow at 10:45 am in Stewart Center room 306.

A group of 15-20 Rotarians are invited to attend the ceremony, and others are invited to attend the reception to help honor JERRY and share your good wishes. If you are interested in attending the graduation ceremony and seeing JERRY receive his diploma, or if you want to come to the reception to help JERRY celebrate, let SUSAN  HYCHKA know - susanhychka@purdue.edu, 765-409-5496.

♦ 50/50 Raffle:  The owner of the winning ticket was VICKI BURCH.  Unfortunately, the aces eluded her.  She received a folded one Dollar bill as consolation.

THANK YOU:

Jane,
The Rotary flowers were just delivered.   They are beautiful,  and I'll be able to plant them in the yard when I get out out of  here, which is now scheduled for May 5.
