♦ JERRY COLE, who celebrated his 90th birthday last October, will be celebrating a life goal in a few weeks when he will be among 36 students from the Purdue Statewide Technology program at SIA who will receive their bachelor's degrees. The graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 9, in Fowler Hall, Stewart Center at 10:00 am. A reception will follow at 10:45 am in Stewart Center room 306. A group of 15-20 Rotarians are invited to attend the ceremony, and others are invited to attend the reception to help honor JERRY and share your good wishes. ♦ SAM BIEDERSTEDT announced this Saturday, May 2nd, at 9:00 a.m. Tree Lafayette will celebrate Arbor Day by planting 70 trees at Jefferson High School. Please volunteer. Gather in the Auxiliary gym. Many hands make light work.
