PROGRAM:

LIZ SOLBERG introduced Tom Murtaugh,Tippecanoe County Commissioner since 2009. Tom Murtaugh He opened by describing the recent trip to visit our congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. the most successful in recent years. Business leaders as well as elected officials met with our Senators and Representative, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Amtrak.

Current county projects include remodeling the recently purchased building at 111 N. 4th Street; Hoosier Heartland TIFF planning; new ADA compliant restrooms and a horse and pony reviewing stand at the Fairgrounds; and several road and bridge improvements. He mentioned a handful of issues that concern the County being considered by the State legislature. Before answering several good questions, he gave a ten question quiz. The person who had the most correct answers was TOM MORAN. He received a paper weight bearing the seal of the County Commissioners.
