ANNOUNCEMENTS: |
♦ Pub Club will support the GLC Small Business of the Year program at Holiday Inn – City Centre, Lafayette, 5:30 PM on Wednesday. |
♦ It’s time to order Valentine Toffee Hearts. Take a form and let your office mates or breakfast buddies order some, too. The price remains the same: $15 per box. Rotary gets $5 per box for projects. An order form is here. |
♦ CHANGE THE SAVE THE DATE!: Fund raising dinner for the LaPaz International Project at Maza on Wednesday, March 4th. Reservation forms with the menu selections are on the tables or can be seen here. |
♦ Volunteers for BackPack are needed. Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board. |
♦ JACK KELLEY reminded members that donations to the Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation’s International Projects fund – specifically the Dominican Republic Water Project – are needed. This project is in conjunction with a Purdue Student Engineering project. To receive a matching grant from Rotary International, we need to be able to show that we have over $7,500 in our fund for this project. We currently have $3,269.20. If you would like to support this project, make your check payable to the Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation and put Dominican Republic on the memo line. |
♦ WES MC DIVITT reminded us that a few Dollars are still available from the Community Foundation Matching Grant, but it is going fast. If you want to increase your donation to the Club’s Foundation Endowment by 50%, make your check payable to the Community Foundation and get it to JANE or WES soon. Don’t miss out! |
♦ LETA KELLEY announced a Euchre and Cribbage party at the Handas on Saturday February 24th at 6:30. Bring wine or beer and an appetizer to share. If you can join the fun, please contact LETA or SANGITA. |
♦ SAVE ANOTHER DATE! An Evening in Monte Carlo. Friday, April 10, 2015, 7:00-10:00 PM |
♦ 50/50 Raffle: The owner of the winning ticket was BOB WOERNER. Unfortunately, the aces eluded him, so he received a One Dollar coin as consolation. |
