ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ Next week’s Coaches Luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m..  Food will be available by 10:45.  BRIAN METZGER is providing a PA system that will make it easier for everyone to hear the coaches.

♦ Pub Club is meeting at Avidity, 133 North 4th Street, Lafayette at 5:30 PM on Wednesday.  Participants are under no obligations to drink anything alcoholic.  Soft drinks and water are available.  Come and bring a friend!

♦ To enter any school for Backpack or Read to Succeed a Criminal Background Check is made.  The forms are on the back table.  BECKY ROBLEDO will be happy to help you with the on-line application if you need it.

♦ BECKY ROBLEDO announced that she and LETA KELLEY are co-chairs for the Community Foundation’s Gems & Jeans event where 6 of the 16 agencies participating in the Endowment Matching Campaign will be visited. August 10; Lafayette Country Club; casual attire; $85 per person. Please contact BECKY or LETA if you can attend.

♦ Volunteers are still needed for the Boiler Bridge Bash from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21st.  This is community outreach to welcome Purdue’s freshmen class to town.  The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

♦ 50/50 RAFFLE:  The winning ticket belonged to JO WADE.  Unfortunately, the aces eluded her.  She was given a One Dollar coin as consolation.
