ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ Do you know a member who has lived our motto this past year and deserves to be recognized?  Rotarian of the Year nomination forms are available at the back desk.  Nominations are due by June 10th so a presentation may be made on June 24th.

♦ Congratulations to DON GENTRY, who was presented by Purdue University with an honorary doctorate at the June Commencement Ceremony.  Richly deserved.

♦ The Lafayette Magazine, Summer issue is out and it has an article about the Lafayette Rotary Club and the Daybreak Club and our emphasis on youth projects in the community.

♦ Will we have another Harvest Dinner?  Who will organize it?  Should we have another kind of fund raiser?  CHRISTINE BURR announced that we would be receiving a survey by e-mail to indicate preferences for different possibilities.  If you have suggestions, please contact BECKY ROBLEDO or JANE.

♦ The Local Projects Committee is considering projects for 2015.  If you have ideas, please contact DON GENTRY or JANE.

♦ Pub Club is meeting at Sargent Prestons, Lafayette at 5:30 PM on Wednesday.

♦ 50/50 RAFFLE:  The winning ticket belonged to Visiting Rotarian Katie Nielsen.  Unfortunately, the aces eluded her.  She received a coupon to Don Pablos as consolation.

REMEMBERING GRIFF:
