ANNOUNCEMENTS: |
♦ Three of our members are being honored at the Small Business of the Year Event next Wednesday, January 15 at 5:00 pm at the Holiday Inn City Centre. Huston Electric, Sylvan Learning Center and Tucker Insurance are contenders for the award and it would be great to have a big group of us to cheer them on. Any interested Rotarians are also invited to join Pub Club regulars for a beverage and conversation at Toscana’s (Holiday Inn’s restaurant) following announcement of the award. |
♦ It’s time to order Valentine Toffee Boxes. Order forms are available on the back table. Each box is $15, with $5 going to the club’s project fund. The deadline for orders is February 4th, but early orders would be appreciated. |
♦ PRESIDENT CHRIS announced that the club was 67% of the way to reaching the $100,000 Commumity Foundation Matching Grant goal. Any contributions received by the 30th of December were eligible for the match. |
♦ The District Leadership Institute will be held Saturday, February 22nd, in Carmel. The cost is $70. Please see CHRIS JOHANNSEN if you are interested in attending. |
♦ 50/50 RAFFLE: The winning ticket belonged to JOHN TROTT. Unfortunately the Aces eluded him. |
