ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ A Report from our Rotaract Club:  The Purdue Rotaract students met with the CC high school Interact students in order to explain to them what Purdue's Rotaract has accomplished over the years Such as: Caregiver Companions, Natalie's Second Chance, Trick-or-Treat for Cans... so on.
We were thrilled to share with them our experience with Rotaract through Purdue, and to find out all about the great work that they have been doing throughout their high school experience.  Rotaract’s areas of focus for volunteerism are SPOT-ON with what the students in Interact wish to do (working with the elderly, children, and animal shelters) – that genuinely was the top three areas for everyone’s goals.  Rotaract looks forward to working further with Interact in the Spring [2014] semester.

♦ PUB CLUB will meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 at Black Sparrow for the month of November. All are welcome to join the fun.

♦ Backpack sign up sheets are on the bulletin board. Volunteers are needed to pack on Thursdays and distribute on Fridays.  Please sign up to help.

♦ Our Rotary District 6560 will match your contributions to the Rotary International Foundation with points to double your credit toward your next Paul Harris level. This applies to contributions of $100 to $500 until December 31, 2013. A copy of your online transaction, or a copy of check and the contribution form is needed to receive the District credits, or give your check and form to Jane.

♦ If you took a coat by mistake please notify JANE.  Hang on to the coat until we can facilitate the exchange with the rightful owner.  Please do not leave it at the hotel.

♦ Salvation Army Bell Ringing sign up sheet is on the Bulletin Board.  December 14th is the day.  Two hour shifts from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. are available at 7 locations.

♦ 50/50 RAFFLE: The winning ticket belonged to GUS GUSTAFSON.  Unfortunately the aces eluded him and he received a coupon for Dominos Pizza.
