Harvest Dinner sceneCAROL and RENEE gave us a sample of what we will enjoy this Friday evening. Magic tricks by Mark Brandyberry, silent and live auction, raffle, entertainment. For those who will not be able to attend, pledge cards were distributed to enable those members to contribute to a backpack, PALS bicycle, scholarships, RYLA or camperships. Champagne flutes etched with the Rotary Wheel will be available for $25. This will give you one glass of Champagne and a chance to win a diamond from Stall & Kessler. Harvest Dinner scene

It promises to be a fun evening and our most important fund raiser. Your contribution is appreciated.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:
“If we say it long enough, eventually we're going to reap a harvest. We're going to get exactly what we're saying.” - Joel Osteen

JANE'S CORNER:

To help the Habitat Student organization, our club supplied the food for the SAG stops for the Bucket 100 bike ride.  JANE TURNER and JOHN TROTT enjoyed a rainy Saturday morning distributing pieces of pie to hungry bikers as they passed through Stockwell.  RENEE ROAMES (one of the riders) described the ride, the overnight on a gym floor in Danville and the final arrival in Bloomington.  The ride usually attracts between 20 and 40 riders.  Saturday there were 65!  And the best news is that the ride raised $10,000 for a house.
