♦ PUB CLUB will meet this Wednesday at 5:30 at Baja Peninsula. Note different location: located off of Highway 52 West about 1 bk West of Morehouse Road and 52. All are welcome to join the fun.
♦ Backpack sign up sheets are on the bulletin board. Volunteers are needed to pack on Thursdays and distribute on Fridays. Please sign up to help.
♦ BARB REIF distributed Service Above Self Nomimation forms and asked members to be thinking of people who go above and beyond to help young people in the community. See the form here.
♦ 50/50 RAFFLE: The winning ticket belonged to CECIL BLIGNAUT. The Aces eluded him and he was given a consolation prize. Note that we started a new raffle since the Ace of Spades was drawn last week.
♦ HARVEST DINNER: RENEE ROANES baked a pie with a Rotary emblem on it that was auctioned by JACK KELLY. Proceeds went to the Projects Fund. BECKY ROBLEDO was the purchaser of the pie!
♦ BACKPACK PROGRAM: Matt Rhoda, principal, spoke to the Club about how 
thankful he was for the support that the Club provides to the Miami Elementary School. He recognized the three aspects of the backpacking where members are participating: Unloading food from Food Finders truck occuring once a month, the Backpacking group on Thursdays and the Backpack Distribution on Fridays.
