ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ FRITZ COHEN read a thank you note from Read to Succeed for his volunteer work.  He encouraged others to volunteer for this important activity.

♦ JIM BODENMILLER reminded us that Round The Fountain Art Fair is this coming Saturday.  The impressive permanent collection is on display in the main gallery of the Art Museum through the end of this month.  After that it returns to the walls of the Courthouse.

♦ JOHN BARRETT announced that enough funds were collected from very generous Rotarians to award a 6th scholarship for two-year college students.

♦ CATHY BARRON announced that next week is the last week for the Backpack project for this school year.  She thanked co-chairs LETA KELLEY and BECKY ROBLEDO for their work in helping her organize volunteers and asked anyone who delivered the food, packed the backpacks and distributed the backpacks to stand and be recognized.

♦ Membership cards for those who have paid dues are available at the back desk.  Please pick up your card.

♦ Pub Club will meet on the patio at Sgt. Preston's, 6 North Second Street, Lafayette, at 5:30 pm for the rest of the Wednesdays in May. If weather is inclement, there is space to meet inside.

♦ If you can place flags on Veterans’ graves at Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens on Saturday, May 25th at 9:00, please let JERRY MC CARTHY know you can help.
