ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ You should have received your dues statement.  If you have not received yours, please contact Club Treasurer JANE SMITH.  Semi-Annual dues of $126 are due by the last day in April.

♦ The Club Board will meet at Elmhurst (home of The Community Foundation and United Way) at 5:15 PM on Monday, April 8th. The Foundation Board will meet at Lafayette Savings Bank at 4:00 PM on the Wednesday after the Club Board meetings.

♦ Volunteers are needed for this Thursday to pack backpacks.  Please contact LETA KELLEY if you can help.

♦ The District Assembly is Saturday, April 13th at 8:30 a.m. at Westfield High School, 18250 North Union Street, Westfield.  Register on DaCdb and contact CHRIS JOHANNSEN if you would like a ride.

♦ The Open World team of six women from Russia will be here on Friday, April 12th. There will be a welcome reception at Armstrong Hall from 5:30 – 6:30 and you are encouraged to attend. If you can house the male interpreter for the group, please contact MIKE PIGGOTT. If you can provide transportation for the group on any of the days (Friday – Tuesday), please contact SONYA MARGERUM. The group will speak to the club on Tuesday, April 17th. After the meeting there will be an opportunity to get to know them better in one of the rooms near our meeting room at Four Points.

♦ Volunteers are needed on April 27th to collect funds for the American Red Cross at the two entrances of the West Lafayette Walmart. The shifts are two hours each. Please see the sign up sheet on the bulletin board.

♦ The Service Project at Food Finders last Wednesday was successful. Several Rotarians, a few spouses, and some Purdue students had a very productive evening.

♦ Household items are needed for needy families. If you are getting rid of things, call JOHN BARRETT and he will arrange for a pick up.
