50/50 RAFFLE:

JOHN BARRETT asked MARIANNE ROSE to draw a ticket. The owner of the ticket was BILL HATFIELD. Unfortunately, the Aces eluded him and he received a box of Valentine Toffee Hearts as consolation prize.

PROGRAM:

PRESIDENT ELECT CHRIS JOHANNSEN conducted a Club Assembly regarding the club’s funding of youth projects. In addition to asking each table to discuss the issue, he asked for the survey form at each seat to be completed and turned in to him. After 25 minutes, a member at each table was asked to sumarize the discussion. BETTY DOVERSBERGER, DICK RAHDERT, TIM LUZADER, JOHN BARRETT, MIKE PIGGOTT, BECKY ROBLEDO, and VICKI BURCH served as table spokespersons. There was general agreement that we keep the programs we have, increase funding where possible and review criteria for scholarships.

Questions surfaced about what is funded by dues and the role of the local foundation. It is hoped that members can find answers to these and other questions in the near future.
