♦ ELSA JANLE announced that the deadline for the Rotary Global Scholar is fast approaching. Applicants must apply for a graduate degree in one of the six Rotary approved areas. Information is available on our
website or contact ELSA with questions.

♦ SUSAN HYCHKA says Pub Club will meet at Puccini’s on January 9, January 23 and January 30. On January 16, we will be attending the Greater Lafayette Commerce Business after Hours to recognize this year’s Small Business of the Year. It’s fun to hear about all this past year’s nominees and celebrate the success of these small businesses, and it’s a great way for us to interact with some potential Rotarians! Please plan to help us with that important outreach effort. The reception begins at 5:00 pm at the Holiday Inn City Centre, 515 South Street, Lafayette. Please RSVP for this event – just let SUSAN know and she’ll give GLC a count for Rotarians.

♦ LETA KELLEY announced that she and JACK will host euchre at their house Saturday Feb. 2. Come at 6:30 with some snack or munchie and your drink of choice. Something sweet, pop, water and decaf coffee will be provided. Please let LETA know if you plan to come. Again lessons/refreshers are offered to anyone interested at 6:00. We do have fun building good will and better friendships!

♦ JOHN BARRETT asked members with bedding, tables and chairs they no longer want to contribute it to the furniture warehouse for people in need. Contact JOHN if you can help.

♦ TIM LUZADER reminded us of the success of last year’s Harvest Dinner. The stearing committee for the 2013 dinner will be meeting soon. If you would like to be part of the fun, contact TIM.
