    ♦ The GSE Team from Pakistan will be here from October 21 ? 24. If you can host a member of this English speaking group, please make yourself known to TERRY WEST, CAROLINE BRIGGS or RICK SCHWARZ.

    ♦ DON GENTRY, chair of the Local Projects Committee for 2012/13, reviewed the projects that are being funded this year and reminded the club that these projects are being paid for out of the Club's reserves. He asked members to use the sheets provided on each table to prioritize existing projects and to suggest other projects.

    ♦ FROM TIM LUZADER: "Dear Rotarians, You will soon receive in the mail a personal invitation to come join your fellow club members at the Rotary Harvest Dinner. We hope that you'll give serious consideration to attending. In support of this event, we also developed the attached flyer targeting visiting Rotarians and guests.     JANE'S CORNER:
    Highlights of the Club Board Meeting:
    • There will be no meetings on December 25, 2012 and January 1, 2013 due to the holidays.
    • Members may indicate in the memo line of their check which local project they would like to contribute to. The funds will go into the Projects Fund, be tax deductible and eligible for Golden Service points. Thanks to MARIELLEN NEUDECK for tracking the contributions.
    • New policies related to Agenda Planning and Club Service Committee were adopted.
    • The Harvest Dinner speaker will be DENNIS SAVAIANO, whose topic will be "Polio Eradication ? Universities Matter".
    • Members who were not able to take advantage of the "early bird" rate for the District Conference will be reimbursed up to $20 if they register for the conference.
