♦ KIM MOTULIAK reminded everyone of the Harvest Dinner plans and invited everyone in the room to buy a ticket or a table. |
♦ ELSA JANLE asked members to make donations to the silent auction and to bring baskets and pretty containers to the next meeting. |
♦ BARB REIF announced that nomination forms are on each table for the Service Above Self Community Award for contributions to the alleviation of hunger. Nominees to be considered are those in the volunteer sector who have made an outstanding contribution to the alleviation of hunger in the Greater Lafayette Community. The deadline is October 1st. The award will be announced at the Harvest Dinner, October 25th. |
♦ JOEL RASMUS announced that the club has a Facebook page. Please become a friend. He places announcements there and hopes that it will be an additional mode for effective communication. |
