JULY 4TH COMMEMORATION:

PRESIDENT TERRY projected The Declaration of Independence on the screen and read aloud portions of this important document. It required bravery in 1776 and it still requires bravery today to be a responsible citizen of our country.

PROGRAM:

PRESIDENT ELECT CHRIS JOHANNSEN thanked the music table for special patriotic music today. He announced that he is taking suggestions for programs in December and next year.
PRESIDENT TERRY asked members to discuss Rotary issues at their tables and then report. SUSAN HYCHKA reported that her table felt more time like this is needed instead of programs. CHRIS JOHANNSEN said that there will be more club assemblies sprinkled in the program schedule. CHIP RUTLEDGE and BETTY NELSON reported suggestions for programs. JOHN BARRETT spoke for himself when encouraging us to look at programs and formats suitable for people younger than most of those in attendance today.
