BIRTHDAY TABLE:
JOHN BARRETT standing in for PAUL ZIEMER who was Birthday Table Chair for June, introduced Rotarians celebrating another year this month and announced that so far a little more than $1,000 has been contributed to our Foundations. Our Ukranian guests sang their version of Happy Birthday before the whole group sang the familiar song.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

DAVE LUHMAN gave an update on the Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation Endowment Campaign. With the 25% match from the Community Foundation, the total stands at $23,809.06.The next milestone is $25,000.

To honor outgoing President TIM LUZADER, the Foundation will make a grant to TIM'S choice: RYLA, in the amount of 25% of all contributions received in the next month marked saying "THANKS" to TIM.

RYLA is the Rotary Youth Leadership Award program. GREG KAPP presented an overview of RYLA, with slides showing participants from 40 high schools at the camp, including the two participants from Harrison High School sponsored by our club.

PROGRAM:

Open World Chair, GORDON COPPOC, thanked the Bill and NELLIE LECHMAN for hosting a dinner on Saturday night; Sarah and RICK SCHWAR for hosting a party at their lake house on Sunday, the Gary and BARB REIF for dinner on Sunday night, hosts JACK and LETA KELLEY, HARRIET and GORDON COPPOC, Sarah and RICH SCHWARZ, and Steve and SUSAN HYCHKA; and GREGG DONAT and his intern for putting together the professional program.

The facilitator representing Open World Leadership Program, a program of the Library of Congress funded by Congress, explained some history of the program and thanked the club and hosts. Following that, each of the five participants gave us a short presentation of what they do and why they wanted to learn how we operate our legal system. All participants expressed their appreciation to the club and hosts and seemed very pleased by what they have been shown.
