ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ Packers and Distributors are needed for the last two weeks of this project. Now is your turn to volunteer.

♦ TERRY WEST reminded us that committee sign up sheets for next year are available at the back desk or downloaded here. Be sure to indicate your preference or you may be assigned a committee.

♦ Sign up for Harvest Dinner committees. This event replaces and revives our Annual Dinner. There is something for everyone to do.

♦ SUSAN HYCHKA reminded us that Wednesday, May 30th we have another fun(d)- raiser Rotary Dinner, this time at Uncorked, 1005 Main Street. Make your reservation by May 22nd. The restaurant only holds 40 people. See all of the details by clicking here.

♦ GORDON COPPOC needs homes to host the Ukranian members of the Open World team, which will be in town from June 2 - 5. Please contact him if you have an available bedroom.

♦ RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) GREG KAPP introduced the two students from Harrison High School, sponsored by our club. Drezden Johnson and Bailey Sliger thanked the club for the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Both are eager to volunteer in the community and make a difference in the world.

Highlights of the Club Board Meeting:

A revised Electronic Communication policy was approved. It allows club documents (bylaws, policies, newsletter, committee documents) to be put on password-protected sites like the Districts database and Board Suite.
The Discussion Topic was the Strategic Plan for our Club. It is a real time plan for which a color coded dashboard will be developed for ease in monitoring.
