    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ Committee sign up sheets for next year are available at the back desk. Be sure to indicate your preference or you may be assigned a committee.

♦ GENE HILLS described the packing and distributing procedure for our Backpack project at Miami School. It was suggested that a loaf of fresh baked bread from Great Harvest be added the last week of the school year. To do this, about $ 200 would be needed to purchase the bread. A hat was passed and the club's generosity showed itself again. About three times that amount was collected in the hat. What is left over from the purchase of the bread will be added to the Backpack Fund for next year. GENE and all of the members of the Backpack Committee say THANKS.

♦ Sign up for Harvest Dinner committees. This event replaces and revives our Annual Dinner. There is something for everyone to do.

♦ SUSAN HYCHKA reminded us that Wednesday, May 30th we have another fun(d)- raiser Rotary Dinner, this time at Uncorked, 1005 Main Street. Make your reservation by May 22nd. The restaurant only holds 40 people. See all of the details by clicking here.

♦ TOM MORAN appealed to the person who gave his card to David Craig saying he'd like to have lunch to contact him (TOM). The card has been lost and David is interested in learning what the person had to share.

♦ GORDON COPPOC needs homes to host the Ukranian members of the Open World team, which will be in town from June 2 ? 5. Please contact him if you have an available bedroom.
