♦ LETA KELLEY announced that Backpacks will be packed on Wednesday, May 25th (not on Thursday as usual) and TIM LUZADER reminded us that distributors are still needed Fridays. |
♦ ROB GALBRAITH reminded us that we need to mark October 25, 26, and 27 on our calendars. The next District Conference will be held at the Purdue Memorial Union on those dates. There will be jobs for all of us, but today he is looking for a House of Friendship Coordinator. Please contact ROB if you can help. |
♦ In celebration of Smart Money Week, an April 26 entitled "Captain Ca$h" is sponsored by Purdue Extension. To complete these sessions, sic instructors are confirmed, but two more are needed. If you're interested, curriculum copies are on the back table. It will be from 4 ? 8 on April 26th at the fairgrounds. |

♦ Former Rotarian and guest Ken Bootsma informed us that his deceased wife, Jan, had established scholarships to specific Christian Colleges. He was surprised and delighted to see Emily Wetzel as one of the student guests today and announced that just this morning she had been selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship to Calvin College. This was a very special surprise to Emily and her mother, Sue! |

Tomorrow our Satellite meeting will take place at Main Street Wine and Cheese, 1005 Main Street, Lafayette. We'll gather at 5:30 pm, taste a little wine and order a glass if you like, and share a few appetizers. We'll be talking about the changes we see in the upcoming months in our community plus other topics of general interest. |
