♦ CATHY BARRON reminded us that the Harvest Dinner, planned for October 25th (the night before the District Conference in Lafayette begins), is to be a huge fund-raising event. Please save the date and say "YES!" when asked to help.

♦ The "Pub Club" meeting schedule for January. Plan to join us! Wednesday, January 25, 5:30 pm @ Adelino's, Jeanne Norberg, Purdue's spokesperson, discusses crisis communication

♦ The Josh Lindblom Foundation (Josh and his wife help our club pack backpacks in his off season.) is planning a casino night on January 21st to help local food charities.

    JANE'S CORNER:
    Reminder:

When writing a check to the Lafayette Rotary Club Foundation, you need to indicate in the memo line that the check is for "the endowment" or for "special projects". If there is no memo, the check will automatically go to the endowment fund. The Foundation's goal is to build the endowment to a level where substantial sums can be given to the club each year to spend on projects.
