    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    ♦ In observance of Veteran's Day, DAVE LUHMAN led the group in singing the armed forces songs. As each one was sung, members and family members of that service stood.

    ♦ Sign up now to Ring the Bell for Salvation Army on Saturday, December 10th.

    ♦ Rotary is matching all contributions up to $500 made to the Annual Fund until the end of this year. If you are close to receiving a Paul Harris Pin or a new pin, this is the time to double your money!

    ♦ DG NANCY MADRU encouraged everyone to take advantage of the early bird special price for the District Conference in French Lick, March 23 and 24, 2012. The conference will focus on food security, locally and globally.

    ♦ President TIM announced that the Club Board approved a $100 rebate to the first ten members to register for the District Conference. Give you receipt to WES MC DIVITT and you will be reimbursed after the conference.

    ♦ Our Satellite "Pub Club" will be meeting from 5:30 - 7:00 at Adelino's for the next six months. There will be no meeting on the 23rd of November (the night before Thanksgiving).

    ♦ Family of Rotary activities to put on your calendars:
    Marcella and BOB VERPLANK will host the next Euchre party on Friday, December 2nd at 6:30. Contact BOB if you can join the fun.

    There will be a Holiday Open House at JANE TURNER'S home on Thursday, December 15th from 4:30 onward.

    ♦ Next week Backpacks will be packed on Tuesday and distributed on Wednesday. Volunteers are always welcome!
