    ♦ JIM TURLEY, co-chair of the Club International Foundation Committee (TRF) is calling a meeting of the committee on 20 September. Time and place: 1110 at University Inn. The meeting will adjourn in around 1145. Agenda will include a discussion of the year's work plan and information for the October board meeting.

    ♦ The Backpack Distribution group needs more volunteers on Fridays. Please sign up on the bulletin board.

    ♦ The Board of Directors established a Task Force to suggest broad interpretation of our make-up policy. CAROL GALBRAITH and JOHN COREY welcome your participation. Please contact one of them if you are interested in being on the Task Force.

    ♦ BECKY ROBLEDO announced a change in processing the Criminal Check forms to volunteer in a school. The process must be done on line now. Forms with blanks for the necessary information are available from BECKY or JANE. Return the forms BECKY will do the on-line application for you.
