from Purdue with a degree in history, and several languages under her belt. She studied abroad several times while at Purdue. After graduation she worked at the Carter Center in Atlanta, spent some time in Morocco refining her Arabic language skills, and helped with an archeological dig in Israel. Her year at the American University of Beirut as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar gave her the opportunity to study Arabic and history. She was very active in the Rotaract Club, making friends while participating in the service projects. Emily thanked the club and District for the opportunity to study and represent Rotary in Lebanon.
