    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    ♦ LETA KELLEY announced that the next Euchre evening would be July 29th at the home of MIKE PIGGOTT. Contact LETA or MIKE if you can attend.

    ♦ JAYNE FEATHERS encouraged members to donate gifts valued at $10 as consolation prizes for the 50/50 Raffle. This has been a successful and fun fund raiser for the backpack project.

    ♦ ZACH BROWN asked for a volunteer to chair the Vocational Focus committee. He also encouraged anyone who would like to share their passion in a five minute speech to contact him by e-mail: zach@zachbrown.com


    JANE'S CORNER:
    Highlights from the Club Board Meeting:

    ♦ The Board appointed task force groups to select projects for 2012 and study the scholarship program.

    ♦ It was decided that our club would cooperate with TippyConnect through newsletters, directories and attendance at each other's meetings.

    ♦ President Tim announced that our club is one of three in the District to have the opportunity to form a satellite club. He appointed a committee and charged it to begin the process immediately.

    ♦ Jack Kelley asked that the funds budgeted for Gift of Life be released. He intends to cover his own costs to accompany the next team of doctors traveling to Uganda to train medical teams there.
