    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ TERRY WEST presented the new Presidential Theme Banner, which he received at the convention in New Orleans.

♦ PAULINE SHEN reminded everyone to fill out the Health Assessment survey as your personal Service Above Self project. There are links to it from our web page, city and county web pages.
    View the Poster,
    Read the Press Release,
    Complete the survey.

♦ TOM MORAN asked members who have a lanyard attached to their badge to lay the lanyard in the trough over the numbers in the badge box. When lanyards are wrapped around the badge the lid can not be closed, putting considerable strain on the latches.

♦ Our club was selected by Rotary International to have a Satellite Club. Details will be announced later.

♦ PRESIDENT DICK defined "importune" for us in relationship to contributing to The Rotary Foundation. Our club should not be in the 20th percentile for giving. We are better than that. Please play your part before the end of June.

♦ ZACH BROWN represented our club at a Pacers Game where Gift of Life was honored. He was presented a metal to thank our club for contributions to make the Uganda teaching team possible.

    THANK YOUS:
    Dear Lafayette Rotary Club,

It was such a great honor to be chosen to receive the Lafayette Rotary Club Scholarship. Thank you so much! College is expensive and your generosity has made it more affordable for me.
Thank you also for the wonderful luncheon you held in our honor. It was such a treat to meet many of the members of the Rotary Club. I so appreciate the efforts made to provide the funding for this scholarship.
Thank you again for blessing me with this scholarship.
    Sincerely,
    Meredith Johnson
