PROGRAM:

SUSAN HYCHKA gave her reasons for being a Rotarian and then introduced Angela Tamer, vice president of TippyConnect. She said the mantra of their organization is Lead-Grow-Impact-Connect! She also gave the mission statement. The organization was created by the Chamber of Commerce in 2006 for young professionals ages 39 and under. Angela introduced the members who joined us for lunch today and encouraged everyone to get to know each other. Her power point presentation included lists of their annual events, fund-aisers, professional development events, networking opportunities, committees and awards. There was a "Presidential Interruption" where TippyConnect president, Travis Brown, spoke about activities to promote professional development and their vision for the future. He noted that with all of the expertise in the room, there was ample opportunity for both organizations to "do more".

The program ended with "brain storming" at each table to see how we can help each other, including the prospect of a joint project. For more information about TippyConnect, go to www.tippyconnectyp.com
