PROGRAM:

JAYNE FEATHERS introduced Jordan Morrow, Personal Trainer at Purdue before joining the staff of Lifelong Fitness. He asked us, "Are You FIT for Warm Weather Activities?" Jordan described the aspects of fitness: Muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular capacity, cardiovascular endurance, body composition, flexibility, balance/agility. In discussing the benefits of having a personal trainer, knowing your goals is the first step. Then a regimen of diet and nutrition and exercise is tailored to your needs. Jordan answered several questions from members concerning nutrition, supplements, heart rates and antioxidants.
