    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ PRESIDENT DICK will have to display the poster showing our progress on Every Rotarian Every Year at the District Conference in two weeks. Our club is presently in the lower half of all of the clubs in the District in terms of Dollars contributed and percentage of members contributing. If you have not made your contribution to the Annual Fund this year and intend to do so, please consider bringing it with you next week so that our club can raise its percentages.

♦ LETA KELLEY reminded us that a few months ago, we had a guest mother whose children benefited from the backpack program at Miami School speak to us about what the backpack program meant to her and her young family. Rachel Johnson died very suddenly last week, probably from an embolism. Please remember her and her family in your prayers and devotions: especially her three very young children who are now motherless. Rachel was 31 years old.

♦ The winning ticket for today's 50/50 Raffle belonged to DAVE LUHMAN. Unfortunately the Ace of Diamonds eluded him, but he took home a Fast Eddies car wash coupon as consolation prize.
