PROGRAM:

JOHN COREY introduced Sascha Harrell, with Greater Lafayette Commerce. She noted that Life Gives Us Lemons, So We're Hosting Lemonade Day! May 1st is Lemonade Day all across the country. The event teaches young people entrepreneurship. The children learn about setting goals, investors, business plans, site selection, advertising, building a stand, purchasing, making lemonade, setting up, running a business, accounting, banking and giving back to the community. Each child receives a backpack and a guide to entrepreneurship. She shared two videos with us and encouraged us to buy a glass of lemonade on May 1st!

STUDENT GUESTS:

BARB REIF introduced Sara Evans and Cody Stark from McCutcheon High School. Each received a certificate and a travel mug with the Four-Way Test to commemorate meeting with us today.
