    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ Daybreak Rotarian, TOM BUSCH, introduced Rotary Exchange Student Aline Muniz. We celebrated her birthday with singing and a card.

♦ Congratulations! Not only will DICK RAHDERT be an Assistant District Governor next year, but ROB GALBRAITH, who served as an ADG this year, has accepted the position for DG Elect NANCY MADRU for next year as well. ROB says he enjoyed working with DG SALIM and looks forward to serving next year, too.

♦ SUSAN HYCHKA explained the Satellite Club Pilot Program offered by RI from 7/2011 till 6/2014 for those clubs whose application is accepted. It is suggested that our club might have a "Pub Club" after work in the downtown area. Before SUSAN writes the application, the club membership needs to approve of the idea. By a show of hands, there was unanimous approval from members in attendance today.

♦ On Friday afternoons the Back Pack Distribution committee could use more help. Contact BECKY ROBLEDO or DICK RAHDERT for details.

♦ Beth and ROBERT SCHROEDER have graciously invited us for euchre at their house on Friday April 22nd. Come at 6:30 bringing an appetizer to share and the wine of your choice. They live at 4921 Shearwater Court Lafayette, 47909. Phone # 538-3121. Please let LETA KELLEY know if you plan to come.

♦ LETA KELLEY, co-chair of the Family of Rotary committee, invited us to "take a trip to the opera." At noon on Saturday, April 9th at Lafayette Theater 10 there will be a behind the scenes tour followed by Rossini's comic opera "Le Comte Ory". The cost will be $18.50 for seniors ands a few dollars more for under ages. The opera entertains for over three hours. By that time everyone will be hungry. Dinner is at Nine Irish Brothers. Since the private room there only holds 32, let LETA know now that you want to participate.

♦ Tuesday March 29th will be a Club Assembly. If you have questions or issues you would like to have discussed, please give them to DICK, JANE or a board member.

♦ KIM MOTULIAK announced that Food Finders has a truck-load of cereal. Rotary has the opportunity to help repackage the cereal from 9 - 11 on Saturday mornings, March 12 and 26th. There will be a sign up sheet for those who want to join the fun. Sign up on the bulletin board or contact KIM at Food Finders.

♦ DICK RAHDERT mentioned that he saw former member KIRK CLARK at the PETS/COTS meeting in Indianapolis last weekend. KIRK is now in the Columbus area.
