♦ Packers are needed on Thursdays to pack backpacks at Miami School. Please sign up to help or contact LETA KELLEY. On Friday afternoons the Distribution committee could use some help. Contact DICK RAHDERT for details.

♦ LETA KELLEY, co-chair of the Family of Rotary committee, invited us to "take a trip to the opera." At noon on Saturday, April 9th at Lafayette Theater 10 there will be a behind the scenes tour followed by Rossini's comic opera "Le Comte Ory". The cost will be $18.50 for seniors ands a few dollars more fo under ages. The opera entertains for over three hours. By that time everyone will be hungry. Dinner is at Nine Irish Brothers. Since the private room there only holds 32, let LETA know now that you want to participate.

♦ PRESIDENT DICK announced that a bridge made of canned food will be built at the District Conference. Kroger's is supplying the cans, which will be donated to Gleaners following the conference. Each club in the District is asked to raise $200 in the next two weeks to pay for the cans of food. Our club has an offer of $100 to match contributions. DICK asked members to contribute $10 to be matched.

♦ KIM MOTULIAK announced that Food Finders has a truck-load of cereal. Rotary has the opportunity to help repackage the cereal from 9 - 11 on Saturday mornings, March 12 and 26th. There will be a sign up sheet for those who want to join the fun. Sign up on the bulletin board or contact KIM at Food Finders.

♦ TERRY WEST announced that the 50/50 Raffle collected $66 today. One half of that goes to the club for projects and the other $33 will go to the person who draws the Ace of Diamonds from the remaining 25 cards. DAVE LUHMAN drew the ticket that belonged to HARRIET COPPOC. Unfortunately, the Ace of Diamonds eluded her, but she received a gift from University Book Store.
