♦ Packers are needed on Thursdays for the Backpack Program. Contact LETA KELLEY if you can help.

♦ Registration for District Conference is easy on line. The first 300 registrants will receive tickets to the Charlie Daniels show at the Palladium in Carmel as part of the $99 registration fee. A link from our website to the District website will take you to the registration form. For those who want to fill in a paper form, they are available at the back table.

♦ It's time to order your Valentine Toffee. And, in fact, you can take orders from colleagues, friends and family. Order forms are available at our web site. All orders must be received by January 28th so that boxes can be delivered at the Rotary meeting on February 8th. Each box costs $15 and Rotary keeps $5.00 of every box sold.

♦ TERRY WEST announced that there is $734 in the 50/50 Raffle basket and only 30 cards remaining in the deck of cards. He asked ARVID OLSON to pull a ticket from the basket. The winning number belonged to GENE HILLS! Unfortunately, the Ace of Spades eluded him, but he received a copy of Susan Butler's book, Women Count. Another ticket was pulled, which belonged to BILL HATFIELD, who received Susan Butler's other book, Become the CEO of You, Inc.

♦ The Rotary International Convention is May 21 - 25 in New Orleans. Registration forms are available at the back desk. This is the last opportunity in about 5 years to attend the convention in the U.S.
