ANNOUNCEMENTS:

♦ ASSISTANT DISTRICT GOVERNOR LARRY PRICE reminded us that registration for District Conference is easy on line. The first 300 registrants will receive tickets to the Charlie Daniels show at the Palladium in Carmel as part of the $99 registration fee. A link from our website to the District website will take you to the registration form. For those who want to fill in a paper form, they are available at the back table. There are eleven members who are already registered.

♦ GREG KAPP reported on the Salvation Army Bell Ringing results. The bottom line is Kiwanis beat Rotary $12,510.46 tp $9,647.34 Click here to read GREG's report.

♦  Be sure to read this month's Rotarian. There is a nice article about JIM GRAHAM and his connection to Gift of Life.

♦ It's time to order your Valentine Toffee. And, in fact, you can take orders from colleagues, friends and family. Order forms are available at our web site. All orders must be received by January 28th so that boxes can be delivered at the Rotary meeting on February 8th. Each box costs $15 and Rotary keeps $5.00 of every box sold.

♦ TERRY WEST announced that there is $692 in the 50/50 Raffle basket and only 31 cards remaining in the deck of cards. He asked MAURI WILLIAMSON to pull a ticket from the basket. The winning number belonged to RAY PEETERS! Unfortunately, the Ace of Spades eluded him.

♦ The Rotary International Convention is May 21 - 25 in New Orleans. Registration forms are available at the back desk. This is the last opportunity in about 5 years to attend the convention in the U.S.

♦ TERRY WEST attended a Trivial Pursuit Fun-Raiser put on by the Monticello Tri Kappas. This is the sixth year they have presented the event to raise funds for their philanthropic activities. He would like to explore the idea for our club. Anyone interested in joining him in this pursuit should contact TERRY.

♦ Former Ambassadorial Scholar Matt Williams is the father of a baby boy named Iain, born in Botswana. The family will be moving to Beijing later this year.

JANE'S CORNER: Highlights of the Foundation Board Meeting:
