PROGRAM:

GORDON COPPOC introduced Yurly Oleksiyovych Basyuk, the group falcilitator` (similar to the leader of a GSE team), who opened the program with the group singing the national anthem of Ukraine.

Hulnara Abdureshytova is an attorney from the western part of Ukraine. Through the translator, he told us a little bit about his work as an attorney.

Nataliya Boyko is from the eastern part of the country and is active in an association of Mayors of Ukrainian cities as well as another NGO that educates the community about courts and the legal system.

Serhiy Adamchuk is from the birthplace of the Ukrainian army and represents a group that facilitates matters between people and government.

Yuriv Basyuk is a lawyer from central Ukraine whose NGO provides legal assistance to people.

Oksana Nesternko represents two organizations from the most eastern part of Ukraine. Speaking in Russian, she teaches constitutional law and works with a group that protects citizens from torture by governmental bodies. GORDON COPPOC thanked the team for teaching him about the many freedoms we take for granted. A big thank you goes to all of the hosts!
