    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    ♦ MIKE SIMPSON announced that the Scholarship-Citizenship Committee will meet next week.

    ♦ TERRY WEST announced that $94 worth of Raffle tickets were sold today. The winning number belonged to MAUREEN GRABOWSKI. Although the Ace of Spaces eluded her, she won a free lunch. Eighty Four Dollars remains in the pot for next week.

    ♦ October 2nd has been declared Rotary Workday in the State of Indiana by Governor Mitch Daniels. A local project with Daybreak, Interact and Rotaract is being discussed. October 2nd is the first day of the Feast of the Hunter's Moon.

    ♦ The open backpack at the attendance table is ready to receive loose change and paper as a fund-raiser for that project.

    ♦ GORDON COPPOC announced that we will host an Open World group from the Ukraine from September 25 - 29. Young law professionals will visit our club and the Carmel club. If you can host, please contact GORDON.

    ♦ District Governor SALIM NAJJAR will meet with officers, directors and committee chairs at 10:15 on August 17th.

    ♦ President RAHDERT announced that several members are close to Paul Harris Fellow recognition. To check your account, you will need your member number. This number can be found on your subscription of The Rotarian or on your membership card.
