    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    ♦ WES MC DIVITT, Club Treasurer, reviewed the 2010-11 budget. Copies are available from WES or JANE.

    ♦ PRESIDENT DICK distributed a copy of the District Newsletter to each table noting that our club received congratulations for reaching the $100 per person goal for Every Rotarian Every Year.

    ♦ Next week we will have a 50/50 Raffle. TERRY WEST has agreed to organize it. Come prepared to buy raffle tickets. You could be the winner of half of the day's proceeds!

    ♦ October 2nd has been declared Rotary Workday. A local project with Daybreak, Interact and Rotaract is being discussed. October 2nd is during Purdue's fall break and the first day of the Feast of the Hunter's Moon.

    ♦ The backpack at the attendance table is ready to receive loose change and paper as a fund-raiser for that project.

    ♦ GORDON COPPOC announced that we will host an Open World group from the Ukraine from September 25 - 29. Young law professionals will visit our club and the Carmel club. If you can host, please contact GORDON.

    ♦ District Governor SALIM NAJJAR will meet with officers, directors and committee chairs at 10:15 on August 17th.
