♦ PRESIDENT CHRISTA announced that our club is in the bottom 10 of clubs in the District in contributions to our Every Rotarian Every Year. If you haven't made your contribution to The Rotary Foundation during this Rotary year (July '09 - June '10), please do so. If you can't give $100, please give something.

♦ More backpack volunteers are needed on Thursdays and Fridays. Sign up on the board in the back of the room or contact CHARLOTTE HOWELLS.

♦ The Rotary International Convention is in Montreal in June. Registration forms are available on the back desk. Montreal is a marvelous city and on this continent. This is an opportunity to experience the wonderful world of Rotary in a few days.

♦ The deadline for the Vocational Service Award has been extended to the end of this month. Submit your Application form (which accompanies this newsletter) to JAN GRIFFIN KOEHLER as soon as possible.

♦ Kiwanis asks us to put April 24th on our calendars. They have a breakfast at Westminster Village and will be selling tickets early in April.

    THANK YOU:
    Lafayette Rotary Club,
What a beautiful 3-blossom orchid you sent to me following my recent heart surgery! It is beautiful. The nurses here keep admiring it so much, I plan to glue the orchid to my dresser tip so they cannot abscond with it when I am out of my room! Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.
